Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) is a global firm headquartered in Switzerland that solves succession challenges faced by small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through our Operator-Led Search Fund program. NCA is seeking motivated, talented, and aspirational mid-career professionals to partner with us in searching, acquiring, and leading a small or medium-sized enterprise as Chief Executive Officer.

As an NCA Searcher, you will lead a professional search lasting up to 24 months to acquire one small to mid-sized company. During this process, you will have access to financial and business support from NCA, along with an attractive incentive package comprising base salary and vested shares in the acquired company, supporting your entrepreneurial journey.

• Note: We do not invest in start-up or scale-up companies.
• Successful candidates will search for, acquire, and manage a company in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Establish a search process with NCA to generate deal flow and find a business to acquire based on predefined criteria.
2. Manage the acquisition process with support from our experienced Investment team.
3. Assume the CEO role of the acquired business.
4. Proactively identify strategic growth opportunities, develop long-term strategies, and create 100-day plans.
5. Enhance the business's top line through impactful marketing and sales initiatives.
6. Review and improve product/service offerings, portfolio strategies, and brand positioning.
7. Identify value creation opportunities, design new products/services, and define go-to-market strategies.
8. Manage geographical expansion efforts and implement market entry strategies.
9. Ensure efficient and profitable growth.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

1. 10+ years of professional experience.
2. Academic achievement; an Executive MBA or MBA is preferred.
3. At least 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across various geographies.
4. Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in running and growing US-based businesses or business units.
5. Strategic vision for a sector or industry.
6. Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
7. Fluent in English.
8. Resided and worked in the US for the last 10 years.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Candidates will undergo several interviews, complete and present a business case, and participate in a jury review of their investment thesis over several weeks.
2. Webinars are available for candidates to learn more and meet the NCA team.
3. The final assessment with a jury will occur in July 2025.
