Title: Creative Project Manager Location: McLean or Richmond, VA (hybrid 3 days on-site) Duration: 12 months, possibility of extension or conversion The Role Our client, a highly respected leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a talented and driven Creative Project Manager to join their team. We've been brought on to find a professional who can lead and manage creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are on time and on strategy. What You'll Do Lead Projects: You'll oversee the full lifecycle of creative projects, including emails, direct mail, social media, web, video, and more. This means building timelines, setting workflows, and managing assignments to ensure timely delivery of all assets. Manage Workload: You'll facilitate new project intake, prioritize tasks based on business needs, and manage a high-volume workload of 20+ projects with shifting deadlines. You'll be the go-to person for problem-solving and troubleshooting to keep things moving. Facilitate Collaboration: You'll work closely with creative teams, marketing strategists, and channel managers. You'll also lead key meetings like project kickoffs, stand-ups, and creative reviews. Drive Efficiency: You'll use a workflow management tool (like Workfront ) to track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership. You'll also identify and implement improvements to our processes and workflows. Communicate & Present: You will clearly communicate project statuses, manage expectations, and present to senior leaders and key stakeholders. We're Looking for Someone Who Has Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of direct project management experience is required. Education: A Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Creative Background: At least 3 years of experience in a creative environment, such as an in-house creative team, advertising agency, or digital marketing firm. Platform Proficiency: Experience with Workfront or a similar project management platform is preferred. Content Knowledge: Experience reviewing and providing feedback on visual design and written content is a plus.
