Scope and Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our international business operations as our Junior International Business Operations Associate. This role involves servicing clients and agents, supporting system enhancements, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate is bilingual, technologically proficient, and eager to grow within a dynamic, global environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to international clients and agents on in force policies and pending applications.
  • Respond to inquiries related to policy status, documentation and procedural requirements.
  • Assist in designing, testing, and documentation of system enhancements; communicate issues and development needs to the technical team.
  • Stay up to date on product information, procedural updates, and system changes.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimization.
  • Log and report system issues, inconsistencies or errors during testing.
  • Complete or assist in special projects for the international team.
  • Provide back up support to the international new business operations unit and assist the operations director as needed.
  • Handle ad hoc requests such as generating reports, conducting compliance checks, translating documents, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or in a related field. Must be bilingual, fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must have strong bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to recognize when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with life insurance or investment products is a plus.
  • Proficient technical skills using various programs and applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, AdminSeg, SharePoint, and other relevant platforms.
