Job Title: Mill Machinist
Job Description
As a Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and running parts on CNC Doosan Mills. Your role will primarily involve longer runs, requiring you to change out tooling, edit code at the control, and cut jaws, collets, and fixturing for turned parts. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading parts into the machine, as well as checking and deburring your own parts. Training will be provided, and tech graduates are recommended to apply.
Responsibilities
Set up and run parts on CNC Doosan Mills.
Perform longer runs and change out tooling.
Edit code at the control.
Cut jaws, collets, and fixturing for turned parts.
Load and unload parts into the machine.
Check and deburr own parts.
Essential Skills
Experience with machine shop operations.
Proficiency in CNC milling machine and mill machine operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with calipers, tolerances, micrometre, and GD&T.
Experience with Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc machines.
Tooling and machining skills.
Machine setup experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
2+ years of experience in setting up horizontal lathes is preferred.
Extensive blueprint experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and organized, with the assembly department in a separate room from the machine shop, providing a quiet space focused solely on assembly processes. You will work in one of the six cells alongside two other individuals in assembly, one of whom is the lead. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility allowed after training. The dress code is casual, requiring close-toed shoes, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
