The Palliative Care Physician provides compassionate, interdisciplinary care to seriously ill veterans, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient settings. Palliative Care Physician Qu alifications

  1. MD or DO degree
  2. Completed an ACGME accredited residency
  3. Board Eligible or Board Certified in an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) specialty
  4. Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia
  5. Preferred Completion of a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship and/or BE/BC in HPM.
