Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Lockhart, TX. This contract role involves working closely with an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy services to a full caseload of K-12 students under the supervision of an onsite SLP
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation for all therapy sessions in compliance with school requirements
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support individualized student progress plans
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing effective intervention strategies

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification or license applicable in Texas
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage documentation and collaborate with the school team
• Ability to implement therapy plans as directed by the supervising SLP
