Surgery Scheduler

Location: On-site in Austin, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Surgery Scheduler to join our team in Austin! This role is essential in coordinating surgical procedures and ensuring a smooth experience for patients and providers.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule surgeries and pre/post-operative appointments
• Coordinate with physicians, surgical centers, and insurance providers
• Verify patient information and obtain necessary authorizations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding instructions and scheduling

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in surgery scheduling
• Extensive experience with insurance verification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High school diploma required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
